Night Sweats

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question ๐Ÿ’ญ

Hi I just wondered how many of you also suffer from night sweats? I would say on a typical week 5 nights out of the 7 I wake up in pools of sweat (beautiful I know lol). It's something I've suffered with for years anyone else? And if so any tips I'd be grateful :).

Members validated the frustrating experience of frequent night sweats with fibromyalgia, with many waking up drenched in sweat multiple times per week and needing to change bedding or clothes several times. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped, including taking an over-the-counter supplement called iCool for hot flashes and exploring whether the sweating might be related to menopause (which can begin in one's 30s) or other medical conditions beyond fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting a doctor to rule out other causes while acknowledging the challenge of finding physicians who don't dismiss every symptom as fibro-related.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I use to do this, I would sweat so bad and in so many different areas. Like the back of my legs, I never knew people would sweat there. I started taking a over the counter med called Icool it is for hot flashed and other menopause issues. I take it everyday. I use to sweat like this daily. I don't anymore. :) I hope this helps

Yes!!! I woke up this morning drenched in sweat I'm fighting a cold. It happens a lot to me, one morning I had to change my clothes 3 times. I don't know what is causing it I've been out of menopause for 9 years. I guess it's one of those things that I have to live with. ๐Ÿ˜‚(((HUGS)))
