OK so my Mom asks me everyday if I feel better because she prayed. Now I appreciate the prayer but my reality is this may never go away so I wish she would take time to learn about what's happening to me as opposed to just saying she prayed so it will all be OK. I wish she would understand so she can really get what's happening. I do believe miracles can happen but I don't believe in just kicking back waiting for one cause sometimes the answer is no and what you should be doing is learning how… read more

@A MyFibroTeam Member I pray for a miracle, and a angel everyday, and night. I get my miracle when someone comes and takes me shopping, or out to lunch. My Angels are my caregivers, and daughter that come and do my laundry, clean the house. Even some answers on the TV, or good advise from this site. So tell your mom , yes I've been bless.
Oh I did but she doesn't really listen. I have asked her to but to no avail. She keeps saying she prayed so she knows this will go away. It's been hard trying to accept that this is my life now. I do wish there was cure but I think this happened to me for a reason, to slow me down. I've had to make some tough choices and face some harsh truth but I think it was necessary. Also I really wasn't happy with life and we'll this has helped to provide some perspective and for that I am grateful. While I do pray for things to get better, I pray for guidance more than anything else. I'm just so confused right now and I need support not wishful thinking. Ah well thanks for your response.
I totally agree with Cindy, I do not know if anyone ever can understand what we go through. The days I am so tired, I walk by the couch and just quite what I am doing. I did not put up one decoration 3 yrs ago I was hurting so bad and I could have cared less. I felt so guilty which caused more stress, but I just did not have it in me. I have tired to help my kids understand and one is a nurse, but unless you dig into and read with the intent to understand, it just won't happen. I worked so hard before I got sick, that some days I feel I have no purpose!! I want to volunteer so bad but my day to day, with the breathing issues, and everything else, I am not dependable. I have prayed and prayed for an opportunity to serve, I first thought I would take to Facebook as a forum to witness, but there is so much batting back and forth, it is stressful as well. Hugs to all of you, only we understand one another!!!
Good question- maybe sitting down & telling her exactly what you said here? & how it makes you feel? 💝
OK do had long talk with hubby today and I have decided I'm just gonna leave it be with her. It's just too stressful and well we all know that's not good for us. I have some many other things to straighten out that right there's no point in wasting energy there.
