Infertility And Fibromyalgia
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

How do you decide if choosing to start a family with Fibromyalgia is the right decision for you? After experiencing months of infertility, going through miscarriage, etc. does the decision to bear children put that much additional stress on your body while dealing with the day-to-day struggle of Fibro? How do you handle it? What steps do you take? What direction do you move forward in?

Pregnancy is different for everyone. Some just sail through it with no problems at all and other end up bedridden with a near emotional breakdown. There is also the possibility of postpartum depression, but even if things don't go that far, adjusting to even a perfectly healthy new baby is extremely stressful.
Based on my own experience which may or may not have anything to do with yours, I would never get pregnant again in a million years.
