Everytime I sit upright in a chair or couch my legs swell painfully. I'm on a water pill as well. I just bought some cute compression socks, but they are so uncomfortable. So I spend 99℅ of my time laying in bed, in pain on my laptop. Anyone else?
Do you elevate your legs above your heart? That helps, maybe your compress hose are too small? I wonder if the doctor would give you RX for electric gradual compress hose they put on you when you have surgery. Oh, they feel so good! It's like getting a massage to your legs and they are warm! Some like them some don't like them .When my mom had surgery she hated them but she didn't like her feet touched. I loved when my husband rubbed my feet he had magic hand.
I get swelling and pain. I've got terrible circulation in my legs n feet. Sitting any longer then 30 mins n they hurt with numbness n swelling. I have zip up compression socks n there not to bad. Definitely put ur legs up on pillows that helps swelling. N try to get up walking around every half hour to hour. It will help.
I don't wear compression socks as I am on my feet 12 hours a day. But when I come home and take my shoes and socks off and they feel like they are going to explode
