Members responded to the overwhelming daily pain of fibromyalgia by sharing their most honest coping strategy: taking life one moment, hour, or task at a time rather than trying to survive entire days. Several members found relief through practical approaches including meditation and breathing exercises, sleep studies to improve rest quality, water walking for gentle movement, Epsom salt baths for magnesium absorption, CBD oil for pain and anxiety, and medications like gabapentin and morphine patches that help block scrambled pain signals from the brain. A recurring theme was the importance of setting small achievable goals, celebrating each completed task as a victory, finding laughter and positive distractions like TV or inspirational podcasts, releasing guilt about saying no, and leaning on faith and prayer to endure the relentless cycle of pain that has taken away former abilities and identities.

I have read that fibro patients are usually low in magnesium so soaking a couple times a week in an Epsom salts bath helps get some of that back into your system plus it's very relaxing too

Breathing helps I know it's silly but meditation at night can help. But also make sure you are getting the best sleep you can. Ask for a sleep study from your doc if you think something might be up or something to help as soon as I started fixing my sleep 😴 I have felt much better not perfect but much better

I'm exactly the same I'm so fed up of being in pain in fact I can't remember what it's like to be pain free so I would also be interested in hearing some coping skills
