Wow! I get a red hot face sometimes but I have Rosacea and I always blame it. But maybe it's something to do with Fibromyalgia too. I have noticed it is usually when I don't feel well. Like when I'm under stress or have some pain or can even be when I have ate something too sweet for me. It's funny how sometimes my face is fine. Also when I'm out in a large crowd my face goes red. It's probably a combination for me of Fibromyalgia and my Rosacea. Sometimes it depends what I eat too. I will have to pay attention and see if it comes when I'm about to have a flare up. I usually have problems when it's going to storm or rain out or if snow is coming.

Yes! I'm getting it a lot lately and it itches like crazy!! Sometimes my scalp and arms to. My Dr says the fibro is in my central nervous system. Other than Benadryl she doesn't know what to do. I've had fibro diagnosed in my 30s I'm now 60. Probably had it as a child also from things I've read on this site.

It could be related to the medication also.

I also relate it to pain especially at night. My mom never use to know why in high school I would c me home from school and my face would just be bright red the rest of the night because I was always in so much pain and exhausted from a full or half day of school
