Has anyone been on cymbalta and had good results,then all of of sudden it stopped working? I was doing so good but now it's worse than ever,don't know what to do at this point.

Lyrica is an anti-epileptic, while Cymbalta and Savella are anti-depressants.

Lyrica and gabapentin are both anti seizure meds that also reduce pain by affecting electrical signals in the brain. Not an ssri.

Cymbalta is an snri..seratonin and norepinephrine

Debbie they gave you cymbalta AND effexor? Those are both snri...can e dsngerous?

Many docs combine cym or eff with lyrica or gabapentin.

Your dr. Can add something to take with it. I got Effexor added.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I should not have assumed Lyrica and Cymbalta were the same. I guess I thought they were because most people with fibro are on one of them. My sister was on Lyrica but had terrible side effects so they switched her to Cymbalta.
