Members with fibromyalgia connected over the painful experience of Morton's neuroma, a nerve condition in the foot that several described as feeling like bones shooting out of the toes. Many shared overlapping diagnoses and treatment journeys, including nerve damage from back issues, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis, and migraine management with medications like Cymbalta, topiramate, and maxalt. A recurring theme was the importance of not ignoring the pain, with one member who had three neuromas surgically removed emphasizing that taking care of your body is paramount and urging others to seek proper treatment before the condition worsens.

Yes!! I've had 3 neuromas. All 3 were surgically removed with the last one a couple weeks ago. If you ignore them the pain is horrible. Fells like the bones of my toes were being shot out of the tips. Since this is basically a bungle of nerves that are overgrown. According to my podiatrist the jury is still out if there is a correlation with fibro. Makes sense though. Good luck just don't ignore it. Taking care of your body is paramount❤

I'm on a drug called topiramate every day to prevent them and maxalt melt wafers when they attack but I agree that they are linked to fibro x
