Members shared deeply personal stories about what they believe triggered their fibromyalgia, with stress, trauma, and illness emerging as common threads—whether from childhood abuse, family deaths, serious accidents, severe infections like tuberculosis or Epstein-Barr, or the compounding weight of financial strain and relationship upheaval. Several members described a cascade of events rather than a single cause, such as years of anxiety followed by a severe flu, multiple surgeries paired with car accidents, or devastating losses of loved ones that seemed to break something in their bodies that never healed. A recurring theme was the sense that fibromyalgia doesn't appear out of nowhere but rather follows prolonged physical or emotional strain, with many members finding comfort in recognizing shared patterns and feeling less alone in their suffering.

You see... we all go through our own personal trials and for lack of words our own personal hell I couldn't find the right words) They are all different but in a sense they are the same because they all cause stress and anxiety on the body. I'm not saying that one shared story is worse than the other.im saying the end result of what we have all been through is the same Stress anxiety .... and ... we fought ...to survive... and we still fight. But now we are fighting the same War and it's name is fibromyalgia.

Thank you for your answer..I think it's important so we can get a picture of this disease. I am surprised how many of us have other problems besides those fibro causes.
