Has Anyone Tried CBD Oil To Treat Their Symptoms? If So How Effective Was It?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been recently diagnosed, I would like to try natural treatments before going down the medical route. I have read online about CBD oil for treating some of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. has anyone tried this as a treatment and if so how effective was it? also can anyone recommend any natural remedies which I could try?

I have my license to get medical cannabis. I prefer the edible oil which I take in capsule form. I find the CBD oil is a god send. It doesn't take the pain away so much as relax you so that you can manage it better. I'm not sure where I would be without it. Sometimes I even toss in a bit of THC just for the fun feeling, it makes me laugh and lightens my mood. Without it, the pain makes me not very nice to be around.
This is coming from someone who was forever against cannabis, until I did some research and consulted with knowledgeable people.
Now I won't go without it, it really has made an incredible difference to my overall wellness.

Hi
I'm
Currently on :
Inflavonold intensive care - for pain
Metagen methyl-active
Zinc
Fish oil - foggyness
Vitamin d
And of a night
Muscle resuscitation-
Magnesium powder
Then I have panadol for a top up
I was on some really strong pain killers before this which were chemical enhanced from doctors. But you no what I couldn't be feeling better. I also got tested for a sleeping disorder and I now use a cpap for breathing and this has helped too. It is working for me hope it works for you too . Let me 🌺❤️️😄

I have used CBD oil for years and it has been SUPER helpful!! I started out only using 25 mg and bumped up to 50 mg. I would definitely say on high pain days I would like to try going up to the 100 mg! My daughter also uses CBD for her issues with migraines and it's the only thing that really gives her any relief without a horrible side effect (her rx makes her vomit - not fun when you already have massive head pain!).

Other natural remedies I've tried are magnesium oil spray, hemp / cbd-based rubs and lotions, and essential oils. I can only use the brand that starts with D, due to high smell sensitivity, so I'm just letting you know what works for me - could be different for you. Epsom salt baths have been a real lifesaver too! just let the warm water and the salts soothe you... add some lavender [essential] oil for a calming effect. I prefer the non-medication route too, but I do take some. I take some pretty awesome supplements that have helped my inflammation, fatigue and gut health, but I don't think I can list it on here. ❤️ blessings & gentle hugs to you!! ~Emily
