Has anyone tried the headphones you can get for autistic children, that drown out excess noise?

I've been experiencing more intense sensory lately. Here's a new one: driving on freeway, raining super hard, wipers going fast. Between the motion, wipers, rain, noise whatever else.... couldn't wait to get off the freeway!! It was intense and it actually made me nauseas this time!

Yes Sharon, noise is a big problem, my hubby has to wear headphones to watch tv when I am in bed and the grandchildren have headphones on when on their tablets etc., the noise of the pelican crossings is unbearable, and those screaming fireworks!... x
