Members shared deeply relatable experiences about their most bothersome symptoms, with fatigue emerging as the overwhelming consensus, described as debilitating enough to completely shut down daily functioning and outlast even high levels of chronic pain. Several members detailed additional challenges including widespread joint and muscle pain (particularly in shoulders, knees, and legs), anxiety and depression, difficulty lifting arms above shoulder height, memory problems, and unpredictable flare-ups that can strike without warning and immediately halt all activity. A recurring theme was learning to listen to your body rather than pushing through, with members finding relief through proper pacing, rest periods, seeking medical support for anxiety, using supplements like serotonin for sleep, and building a personalized toolkit of strategies including massage, stretching, meditation, and nutrition.

I think we all find this to be a problem. Some days good, some days really bad. Talk to you Dr. To see if you can take serotonin. Over the counter, and it really helps me to sleep. I still have that sleep problem at times but not as bad as I did.

Oh the everlasting fatigue!!! The anxiety!!! My legs are often very weak and I feel like they can barely carry me! And medication side effects! But the FATIGUE is my worst, if I could get a grip on it I think everything else would get better. My sleep is all over the place. No matter how long I sleep or DON'T sleep, I'm always exchausted.

My worst are"the flare up's "!!! I've become accustomed to daily pain, fatigue, joins weakness.. these things I'm able to work through (most days) but "Whammm" outta no where a flare up attacks me ,it drops me like a charging rhino, right in my tracks !!! No matter whatever I'm doing ,as soon as a flare up hits I go down ....and I detest this !

Fatigue is the worst for me. I can actually tolerate a lot of pain and still function well but when the fatigue kicks in it shuts me right down and I really can't function. This often leads to depression and until I rest and the fatigue resolves itself, I am basically dead to the world. I no longer push through the fatigue and when I rest it usually fully resolves itself within 10 days or so. I can then carefully carry on until I push myself too hard in the wrong direction again. With proper pacing along with good diet and nutrition, massage, stretching, meditation and a host of other tricks in my bag I can be good for months sometimes.
