I was denied twice, got an attorney. After waiting 2 years went to my hearing Nov 9, 2015. The judge I had she was super understand, my doctors had my medical records in order, and my attorney knew my case and the effects of all my medical conditions. Before the hearing was over, the judge told me that she was about to do something she has never done before. She told me that she was approved me for SSI and I would get the appreciate letter in the mail within 60 days. Then she wish me good luck. I receive my first check December 3rd.
2015.
Just go in and tell them everything about how your health affect your daily living. Good luck to you.

It sounds like you want to give up? Theyre not going to make it easy for you. Start over, google local physicians that specialize in Fibro. Get your pcp to recommend a good pain management team add in psych & there is a Dr whitting in town that has support groups & does focus on non medicinal alternatives to pain control. Do not underestimate your pain. Remember how you were feeling 2 days ago when you wish you just wouldnt wake up, except youd have to sleep for that and the cycle is endless, esp when trying to manage on your own. All the times youve missed w yr kids. Do not be strong for these interviews .They need to know what its like at your worse. I dont know about you but theres no way I could even get dressed unassisted before treatment. Go through an attorney, ask your consolor about whod they recommend & let them take over. It all still sucks just not as much. Rely & lean on what resources you have. Dont let people tell you to get over it, have faith & God will heal you
Be stronger and it will pass. Its for the most part its an unseen disease. Exacerbations prevent you from leaving home. Take pictures of your swelling, bruising and any other change youve gone through. Noone has to know your business . Dont give up. It will grow like a malignant mass & people have killed themselves because they saw no other way. Start with a good primary doctor , go from there & do not hold back. My husband & I were making funeral plans before I finally got help.

Like said earlier. Every single aspect of your life that has changed needs to be brought up. The relationship stresses this has caused. Disinterest in sex or simple inability to be intimate because of pain, decreased sensation sexually from the pain meds, guilt related to these problems open it up.
