Lyrica did NOT work for me at all

I am on lyrica now for about 2 years now. I was on it back in 2007 for about a year and it didn't seem to help much. And my copayment was pretty high for me at the time. My Dr is weaning me off it and going to move me to gabapentin. I am also on tramadol in the day and tizanidine at nite. None of which I feel is working. The weight gain of the lyrica is the worst. I am the heaviest I have ever been, so I look forward to getting off lyrica, and hoping for a drop in weight. Hope this helps you!

I really appreciate everyone sharing their experience. I will definitely be keeping a journal on how I feel day to day. The scariest thing is the depression. Finding out there is weight gain also makes me nervous. Don't need anymore of that.

I was on Lyrica but unfortunately it did not work for me..I have just had a trial drug Palexia but it didn't work either. So I'm back on my Butran patch and Gabapentin with amitriptyline at night when needed and these together are great. I've been on my patch for 3 days already and the difference is like day and night. So hopefully after a week of severe pain I'm now feeling much better and happier!!! Since I've been on the patch I've lost 3 stone.....
