Does anyone have issues falling with fibromyalgia ? I also have ehlors danlos syndrome but I'm having a hard time because there are days my legs barely worked. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Members widely confirmed experiencing frequent falls related to fibromyalgia, describing sensations where their legs suddenly give out, feel weak or cold, or fail to respond as expected, with many expressing frustration that their brain signals don't seem to reach their feet properly. Several members shared practical coping strategies, including using a cane for stability despite concerns about dependency, seeking chiropractic care for back issues that may worsen nerve function, and addressing nutritional deficiencies like magnesium to reduce muscle spasms. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of falling at young ages or constantly living with bruises, alongside determination to find answers through supportive medical teams, lifestyle changes, and self-advocacy when doctors dismiss their concerns.

Yes I do. Sometimes my balance is so bad it is like I can't control my feet.

I have fallen a few times but always backwards. I do have a cane but I'm afraid I'll get dependent on it

I notice that my brain thinks I am lifting my leg a certain height (such as going up the stairs) but the next thing , I'm tripping up the stairs. So, yes...I also trip occasionally.
