I am new to Myfibro and have a question to all. Has anyone taken Neurontin generic name (Gabapentin) for fibromyalgia? Just diagnosed and wondering if it will help.

I'm on Gabapentin now! This is my second time to take it! My prescribed dosage is 300 mg. 3 times a day but I can only tolerate 2 times a day! I think it helps, I take Tramadol or Oxycodone/acetaminophen when pain gets to be too much! I also take something for sleep!!!!

I don't feel that it's additive. It helps a little there are days I don't take my meds and I am not craving to take them. Tramadol I take only as needed at night cause it makes me sleepy and itchy.

I'm on it currently and it definitely helps. I can't take Lyrica.
