I get the twitching and sometimes I have the spasms, especially if I've done too much. Also, I get severe cramping in the hands, feet, fingers and toes.
The tingling, for me, is almost constant, now. The longer we have fibro, the more intense these things become. At least that's my take on it. There are many, many symptoms to fibro. Some not so bad, others are just plain terrible and debilitating. I pray that one day, there will be a cure.

I get spasm and twitching in base of spine and legs and little of same in arms. As I understand it the nervous system overreacts to triggers like overdoing it, food intolerances, weather pressure changes and nerve endings become over active then make muscles twitch. For me it is a part of fibro symptoms.

Medications make my legs and hands jerk! Sometimes my knees and shoulders too! I take Trazadone at night, Gabapentin and and several BP meds before bed! I think it's the Gabapentin for me!!!

I've had the twitching and shaking for a long time and I have no control over it. If anything twitches when you go to bed at night Arnica Gel helps a lot. It won't solve it, but it cuts it in half. Arnica is natural and from the Arnica plant. It's sold at Walmart with NO prescription. On really bad days where I've been busy even my neck will twitch really badly and uncontrollably.

Ask to be tested for Lymes.
If that comes back good I would say it's just the fibro. I have numbness tingling pain twitching etc all the time.
But that's what got me to go to the doctor n found out I had Lymes. Then I found out I had fibro. Best of luck πŸ’œ
