Does anyone find it difficult to walk in heels. My legs tend to cramp and my toes feel like they on shoes that were too tight for hours. Also the bottom of my feet tend to cramp and hurt really badly.
My feet cramp & swell all the time l never wear high heels I have lots of trouble with balance to. When I was doing P.T my therapist could not stress enough how important shoes with good support are for firbo patients is maybe a good arch support insert may help?
I had to give up all of my heeled shoes :(
Now all I wear is sensible shoes. I miss the really cutes pairs I had.
Oh I used to love wearing my high heels. I have a beautiful shoe collection and now it just collects dust because if I wear them my feet cramp, my legs hurt, my back has issues and so on..... It is just another layer of my life that I have had to grieve and now I am trying to let go of
No heals for me. My fibromyalgia has been with me for 11 yrs diagnosis . But these last couple of yrs have been worse. I do feel a lil better when I live on fresh fruits, and soft foods such as chicken not fried , jello, puddings. Just don't take in much and feel better. Sugar doesn't bother me I love koolaide and sweet tea. Just makes my tummy feel good cold glassses. I take lyrica, zannie , and a pain pill occasionally bc they are so temporary I do want to live on the. When my colon is clean and not full of food, and rest on weekends totally, I get thru Monday - Friday helping with my grandchildren pretty good. Yes I was also just diagnosised with Arthritis bc of a fall I had a year ago. But I try to keep pushing mysel and just do what I feel helps me enjoy my family. I was amazed I helped my 10 year old grandson clean his room so well, and a good cleaning 😜. I don't have answers but keep balancing out my life with this pain one day at a time has helped me get thru. So steps and clean colon has helped me. I don't do much with going to functions anymore, and I don't feel guilty bc I have to do what's best for me anymore. I'm lying here aching now, I believe I have laid too long this weekend. Not too much sleep but it's ok when my body says rest I will catch back up. But for now a busy week ahead. Take baby steps and do what your body feels is necessary. Nobody really understand this chronic illness so make yourself as comfortable as you can.
