I used to almost always wear high heel shoes. Shoot, i used to be able to jog in them if needed. As fibro grew on my i wore heels less and less. Now im down to slippers. I am wondering what type of shoes do you wear? Am i the only one weird and will heals ever be on my shoe list again ?

Members shared a deep sense of loss over giving up high heels due to fibromyalgia, with many describing the shift to flats, slippers, flip flops, and supportive sneakers as necessary for managing pain, swelling, balance issues, and fatigue. Several members recommended specific brands that have brought relief, including Skechers Go Walk with memory foam, Clarks, Crocs, Dansko clogs, Yellow Box flip flops, FitFlops, Vionic, and custom orthotics, with many noting that arch support and cushioning make a significant difference in daily comfort. A recurring theme was the bittersweet longing for heels and the occasional decision to wear small wedges or kitten heels for special occasions despite knowing the pain would follow, balanced by a growing acceptance that comfort and mobility matter more than fashion.

I just bought a pair of sketchers go walk memory foam today and put them on in the store. I have to say my feet, ankles and legs aren't half as bad as they usually are when I'm on my feet. Thank God I found something that helps.

I don't think heels are good for your feet. I get Sketchers that you slip your feet into. they have memory foam in them and they help so much that I bought 6 pair in different colors. I gave away all my high heels.

Attended a family wedding and purchased a smaller heal, funny how such a small heal made me feel feminine again. How is everyone , keeping as well as can be I hope.

You can't go wrong with Clarks shoes. They give support, yet are very comfortable.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, my arthritis/Neurolophy was so bad in my feet, I finally went to a Poderist and he shot cortisone shots three years ago and only occasionally have the horrible Neurolophy pains. This has worked for me.
