Handles to get I and out of the bath or to hold onto in the shower, handles on the wall in the kitchen to hold to while I lift the kettle so I don't fall backwards, a rope down the stairs because most times by the end of the night I'm on all fours and pulling my self up on the rope is easier to reach then a bannister that looks just so dang high at that point .... Long handled shoe horn because I hate having to slide my all stars on and off and on and off again to get them just right lol
So many little quirky things in my house Hun ... You're not alone x I have elastic bands on my cars seatbelts laced together to grab easier and they stay tucked away because they are rubber :) (tried other things first) x
Canes are rubbish they out so much stress on the hands and wrists and provide no support to anywhere else, I too have pelvis issues and youMUST get a frame .... It allows you walk at your pace, to lean on one side whilst pushing against the other for a rest, the ones with the wheels on the front and feet on the back are the best they don't take so much strength to move .... Good luck Kenya
