Members shared mixed experiences with cannabis edibles for pain relief, with accessibility varying widely based on location and legality. Several members described positive results, including one who grows their own high-THC strain and uses micro-dosing in edibles to achieve significant pain relief for several hours without feeling high, while another found high-CBD strains more relaxing but less effective for pain than low-dose THC. A recurring theme was frustration with legal barriers preventing access to cannabis as an alternative to pharmaceutical medications, alongside hope that edibles might offer relief where traditional treatments have failed.

Yes, I grow my own medicine, extract it to canna-butter and bake cookies with it. I have a high CBD strain and a High THC strain. I've just used the High THC strain (very low dose) and it took 99.9% of my pain away for 8 hours. I'm lovin' that... next time I will try the High CBD strain and see what that does. Rumour has it the high CBD strain will do better. Update to follow.....

Sorry, haven't - I live in Minnesota. Even though they have passed a medical use law, they make it very difficult to be able to get it, if at all. Guess they want to look more progressive than they actually want to be.

Micro-dosing...... I take very small amounts of a high THC edible. It works out to be .004 Grams of THC, that relieves my pain for 3 - 4 hours without getting high. I am very picky about what I take, I grow the cannabis myself from seeds I acquire from around the world (Amsterdam, British Columbia) that suits my needs. My current medicine is a strain called Blueberry I got from Barny's Seed Farm in Amsterdam - very nice). I grow in organic nutrients and soil. I extract it into butter and bake the cookies myself. From seed to ingestion it never leaves the room. Although I am carrying a Canadian Medical Cannabis Card, I would just rather do it myself.
Good luck to you, Steve
P.S. I learned everything I know about growing on YouTube
