Has anyone read this book by Dr.Rodger H Murphree? The book claims to help you overcome Fibro. I got the book initially because it cost $1. They are still offering it at that price on the Drs website.

Members shared their experiences with Dr. Rodger Murphree's book on treating fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, with several finding it informative and useful from a naturopathic perspective, though many expressed skepticism about claims of overcoming fibromyalgia entirely. Several members recommended alternative resources, including From Fatigued to Fantastic, The Fibromanual by Dr. Genevra Liptan, the myalgia.com website, and Dr. Murphree's YouTube videos, while also sharing mixed experiences with supplement regimens and noting that many couldn't detect noticeable improvements. A recurring theme was the importance of being your own advocate, having realistic expectations about treatment outcomes, working closely with trusted specialists who stay current on research, and understanding that finding effective approaches takes patience since changes must be tested one at a time.

My fibro Doctor gave me the website myalgia.com as one of the best for fibro. It has everything from medications to information. When I asked my fibro Dr to be honest about me getting better he said for me with todays knowledge and medication for fibro I have a 50% chance of getting up to 50% better. He said new meds, studies and so forth are about 10 years out.

I read Dr. Murphree's book. It was very informative from a naturopath perspective. The most useful book I have read since my diagnosis is called "The Fibromanual" by Dr. Genevra Liptan. A lot of the information from Dr. Murphree's book is in there as well.

I don't want to sound pessimistic but how can a book help you get over fibromyalgia? It is a disease that keeps your nerves inflamed and you in pain. I'm sure it can ease the pain but get rid of it all together?
