I'm such a baby and cannot stand this nausea. What can I do to ease it.? It really effects me in the morning after waking up. Is tums a good idea
Dried Ginger helps nausea
Camomile tea is my preferred answer to this problem. It also seems to relax me. I would buy twinnings brand it is British camomile
Gaviscon can work wonders. Have it by your bed side and take 15ml as soon as you wake try not to drink after for at least 10 mins to let it do its job.it calms the acid that builds up over night and coats the stomach walls. I use the mint flavour but there is also aniseed but that makes me gag. Tums are OK but they are very weak . Oh the Gaviscon have the liquid rather than chews it works so much faster. Hope that helps.
Kombucha helps settle my stomach. Fermented foods with probiotics in them can help. These foods include kombucha, yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, miso, and others. Ginger is another good anti-nauseant... ginger tea with honey and lemon is a favorite of mine. Ginger ale can help in a pinch. Ginger chew candies are good too.
Ginger root pills OTC at any drug store works AMAZING!!! And you can pretty much take all you want its just ground and dried ginger!
