aggree with ginger either as aramatheropy or drinking it in gingerale though I also use pepermint or spearmint. if eating it I get altiods or some other REAL strong one. or I take a bath and add just a few drops of the oil (if I add too much I get the shirvers real bad and feel freezing for about an hour after)
A really sour candy helps. I use Jolly Ranchers green apple. Candied ginger is good too but it takes a little while to work. The sour candy works right away. You know how your mouth kind of waters too much when you are nauseous? Sour candy does something to your salivary glands and stops that
Try buying ginger Essential oil and using it in a oil burner or sitting with a small amount in a bowl to smell, calms it right down. It's a strong smell at first wiff though.
I get extremely nauseous on almost a daily basis. I've often found that it happens most when I am hungry--which is incredibly ironic. Try eating a small bit of something bland like toast. I've also found that it helps to have a go-to meal for nights when I'm nauseous and nothing sounds good. And that's where scrambled eggs and toast come to the rescue!
I suffer with bouts of nausea as well I'm not sure if it's my fibro or SLE .I haven't found much to help except occasionally taking an anti nausea medication but that doesn't always help I just have to ride it out usually
