Recently I have had pain in every pressure point a person could have in there body. I have noticed bruising where those pressure points are. Not dark bruising but faded bruising. Has anyone else has this?

Members connected over experiencing unusual bruising, especially at pressure points, with many describing how easily they bruise from the smallest bumps, scratches, or even prolonged pressure from one limb resting on another. Several members shared that medications like gabapentin, simvastatin, aspirin, and blood thinners were potential causes, while others attributed it to fibromyalgia itself, thin skin from aging or radiation therapy, or restless scratching during sleep. A recurring theme was the importance of documenting bruises with photos for doctors, reviewing medication side effects, and seeking medical evaluation for unexplained bruising to rule out more serious underlying issues.

You definitely need to get the cause for the bruising checked out. Have you been taking a lot of Motrin or aspirin? These can sometimes cause bruising. Certain other medications or electrolyte imbalances can cause bruising too. Sounds like you have a bad Fibro flare too. Hope you feel better.

I am always finding bruises in the same spot behind calves/knees and get restless leg syndrome often and my D-Dimer tests are high but they never found a blood clot, I gave up on mentioning it every time. I do get bruises easily as well from any little pinch, fall, bang :-(
