Went shopping with my husband and we entered a shop only for me to leave 5 seconds later as I thought I was going to cry.
And than people getting in my way I was getting pretty angry.
I find talking about it stressful so I shut down and say nothing.
Had to get the bus home and my husband was worried sick as my anxiety was showing and I was very restless.
This doesn't happen every time but I worry about leaving my house.

Members connected over the distressing experience of severe mood swings and anxiety that make leaving the house feel overwhelming, with many describing similar episodes of sudden emotional overwhelm, irritability in crowded spaces, and a tendency to shut down rather than communicate their distress. Several members shared that antidepressants have significantly helped manage their mood swings and anxiety, with some also finding relief through therapy or having supportive family members who recognize the signs and help them find calm. A recurring theme was the profound shift from once being social and outgoing to now finding crowds and even family gatherings exhausting or unbearable, yet finding comfort in knowing they are not alone in this struggle.

yeah I never thought I'd find people such hard work and especially my family.
But I find all gatherings such hard work I just want my mountain of cushions, my sofa and my fur babies.

I get them too hun. Antidepressants really do help. You need to speak to your gp. It would be the best for you. There's a lot of stigma attached to antidepressant but honestly they really do help. X
