Sorry for typo: Yes , I had relief from Sacro Cranial work and swear by it:
& no - ALL out of my own pocket: No private health insurance, no acceptance on Medical card( nat. medical help) for alternative trtmts! And No Disability paymts in IE, for Fibro, unlike in UK...
Thank you everyone, I'm going to bring it up with the nurse I've been seeing and who diagnosed me when I see her next
Have had Fibro now 7+ yrs. Last year, had a bad time with teeth & extractions, plus infections& lotsa anti- biotics. I was on the verge of having ano molar pulled, with so bad pain( but No evidence of infection).. pain was worst of nerve pain I ever had, so I thought anything fr dental to TMJ , to Trigeminal nerce- pain( I had no idea- till this posting: that it could' be been related to Fibrom.!! I saw a Sacro Cranial therapist, who felt all the misalignment from back neck, the change of my habitual bite... , the tension in TMJ , due to extractions and one = 1 session trtmt relived All
I never had to pull the tooth- yeah! 5 in 18 months was bad enough...
These day s, yes I am occas. more aware of facial, neck & TMJ PAIN . BUT I AM really trying inwardly to identify stressor- emotions.... & can relax with a deep relaxation tape + positive visualisation! It is particularly good for letting all " face- muscles " go go go, getting heavy!
Yes they help. Sometimes the pain is substantially reduced and sometimes it goes away completely. I will be getting another set of injections tomorrow. It is nice just to have some of my pain go away.
Your jaw/neck could be out of alignment. I used to get jaw pain TMJ until I had adult orthodontics. No guarantee from orthodontist that the TMJ would disappear but it did. I get nauseating headaches like minor migraines when my neck c-2 is out so maybe it could cause jaw pain too>
