Members shared diverse experiences with alternative therapies for managing fibromyalgia symptoms, with several finding relief through naturopathic approaches (including B12, D3, and calcium supplements), paleo-style diets, and working closely with osteopaths or naturopaths to address underlying issues like thyroid dysfunction and food intolerances. Many members described hands-on therapies as particularly helpful, with massage reducing medication needs, acupuncture alleviating anxiety and improving sleep quality, and Reiki promoting deep relaxation and muscle relief. A recurring theme was cautious optimism, with members emphasizing that what works varies widely from person to person, encouraging one another to experiment with different modalities while staying open-minded about the journey to finding relief.

Massage therapy helps me. I do take tramadol but with massage I can get by with 1 tramadol a day instead of 3. I wish my insurance would pay for a Naturopath. But I have had to quit my job because of my depression and anxiety.

Eating like a paleo type diet, deep breaths through the day, positive attitude and don't stop moving.
