Vibrating/buzzing Sensations In Body?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi to all!

I have seen some similar questions and answers here and all over the internet that would possibly explain this phenomenon but I figured I could bring it up again and see if there is any new or additional information or advice.

I woke up this morning with this weird sort of buzzing/vibrating sensation all over inside me. It seems to be mostly in my upper torso/chest area and is radiating down my arms. I was trying to explain it to my husband and the best description I could come up… read more

I am not sure if this is anything like you feel, but I feel like electrical volts are going on in my hand and feet and I also feel like I have bugs crawling on me at time. When I go to brush it off there is nothing there. I have been told that these sensations have to do with nerve endings so I figured that they went with Fibro.

Umm, I just realised after that last comment from @A MyFibroTeam Member that I have had this vibration feeling but usually in my legs and usually only for a few seconds at a time. I too thought it was my phone, when I couldn't find my phone anywhere near me I assumed it was some other device that I hadn't found but could feel, you know, rather than just assuming I was going crazy! Now I guess it must be whatever this is that you all are describing!?! How weird.......

Yes I do get a sensation hard to describe but it a vibrating, crawling feeling. It's nerve damage and sometimes anxiety brings this on

I was told to keep a list of new feelings, sensations and symptoms i have in between my monthly appointments and take it with me so it can be checked over and added to my record every time x

I was talking to somebody just today about how sometimes just knowing WHY our bodies did the strange things they do would help put me at ease. It's not that it is incredibly painful to "vibrate" - It's just annoying to not understand the meaning of it. Then, like @A MyFibroTeam Member mentioned, we chalk everything up to our fibro and could miss something important -OR- we end up feeling like a lunatic calling the doctor every time our big toe hurts.

Sometimes I just wish I had a little more explanations to put my mind at ease.
