There are days I see better than other days ... and my eye sight changes so much .. I just really wanted to know if it is a FM thing
I wonder why though ... why our eyes...??
tiffanie, I also have had dry eyes for years. Thankfully I have avoided the tear duct plugs. I was told that if you have them you have to be careful not to rub your eyes. I said that would be impossible for me so no plugs for me. What I wanted to suggest for you is something one of my doctors has suggested that has helped somewhat. He suggested using hot compresses on my eyes for 15 minutes twice a day. I didn't think much of the idea at first but tried it and it really does help. I found a compress for the eyes that you can put in the microwave that I use at bedtime. I put it on and usually fall asleep with it on. You can use a wet washrag too but it is more awkward. Hope this is helpful.

Yes, fibro affects vision. I had to get eye exams twice in same year! I got a whole new prescription within 5 months of having new glasses.

One year I had my eyes examined and ordered new glasses. When I picked up the new glasses, I couldn't see with them. They rechecked my eyes and sure enough my eyes had changed so reordered the lenses and when they came in they checked them again. This time only one eye was different but not enough to order a new lens. I was sent to an opthamologist. Seems the right eye doesn't stay focused with the left eye so it changes my vision. At the time my right eye would keep flipping around so it was hard to even test it. After I was put on Topamax my vision improved somewhat. At least now they have less trouble getting the right prescription for my eyes. They still don't know why my eye wonders off. The theory is that it has something to do with the degenerative disc disease in my neck but who knows. If only we only had one thing wrong with us, we could blame everything on that but with the whole body falling apart it's difficult.
