Yes the arm pain is the worst in the morning for me I also have arthritis so that doesn't help the situation it takes me almost 45 minutes to get out of bed but I do it everyday I have my alarm set for an hour before it's time to take my meds and then I can be sitting up by the time to take them it lasts me almost 2 hours after I get up I cannot move my shoulders neck or reach above my head I'm unable to grip anything with my hands as they are too weak and will not fully close. It doesn't seem like they can do anything for it but they are doing more and more tests and experimenting with different drugs I feel like a guinea pig most of the time but if they don't try how are we ever going to find out what works so if my Dr using me has a guinea pig will find a cure or at least a help for the pain I'm all in maybe what we are going through will help someone in the future in our position. You are describing a very common pain. Most of us with fibro have that kind of pain. Personally, I've had severe chest pain cause my fibro mimics heart attack.
Scared the hell outa me the first 2 times it happened!

ABSOLUTELY!! That is where I experience the most pain; when my arms are straight it's sort of okay and when they are bent as well, it's when I move them. Boy oh boy, the slightest movement causes the most excruciating pain.

Pain in my right arm all the time and hand legs feet

I was just thinking back to about two years ago !! The top of my arm felt like a brick was on it n it raduated down my arm n into my fingers. I rolled out of bed to get in the shower . I had to wear a sling to work. I could stand letting it hang. It was so painful . Nothing helped. I finally went to my pain mgmt Dr. He injected the nerve endings in my neck n shoulder n within two to three days I was better . It comes n goes , but that was the worse episode I had. I put ice n heat . I couldn't sleep ,it was awful . My fingers went numb n my Dr. Did n Mri n I had inflammation around all my nerve endings . This is why the nerve block helped . I'll run to the Dr. If it dies that again. Good luck to all that have that kind of pain. It's so sad to live like that.
