Skin Has Painful Pins And Needles And Is Itchy After Being In The Sun. Is This Linked To Fibromyalgia?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have just been in the garden for 25 mins max, just cleaning up a little bit.
Since coming in my skin has like painful pins and needles and is really itchy.
Is this something that is link with fibromyalgia?

I have had photosensitivity since age 24. I use 45 and reapply all the time. My hands, face and feet feel like this, all the time!!

Neurogenic inflammation: rashes and hives, inflammatory sensation, with rashes that may be severe, severe itching with inflammation – initiated by nerves. This is part of Fibro.

Also some meds increase photosensitivity. Check your meds warnings & side effects.

Yes, I can go out in wheelchair for only half an hour then all my skin gets itchy, stinging and feels like my skin has stretched.
