Members sympathized with the struggle of hot flashes, with many sharing that black cohosh and other natural remedies like wild yam root often didn't provide relief, though some found success with products like Estroven, Serenity progesterone cream, or prescription clonidine. Several members offered practical coping strategies including using fans, cold rags or ice on the neck, air conditioning, cold water splashes, and ice-cold drinks, with one member noting that natural remedies typically take about two months to show any difference. A recurring theme was the individual nature of treatment responses and the importance of finding what works for your own body, whether through natural options, hormone replacement, or simply managing symptoms with cooling techniques while waiting for menopause to pass.

I use a tiny personal fan, go to the coolest part of the house, and whine about it to whomever with listen!

Most natural remedies will generally take two months before you notice a difference. Even then it may not be a great difference but in my opinion I'm willing to try anything once and give it a chance. I developed diabetes type 2 after ten years of getting my fibromyalgia and my eyes were greatly affected and after continued use of Bilberry have noticed a slight improvement. Always remember that what works for one person doesn't necessarily mean that it will work for you. Good luck if you try any natural remedies.

Rugged man >= I am aware of these specially compounded creams... There not for everyone. But if it helps your wife... That's a great thing👍🏻😀menopause lasts a long time... And with fibromayaliga its way worse... I am post menopausal and I still have many issues with it.. Lack of estrogen... Big culprit.. But I still have my fan and air conditioning...

I use cold rags or ice on back of neck. Nothing really helps that I have found. Good luck. Gentle hugs
