I came to Orlando Florida from Seattle Washington USA. I feel much better and spend less time in bed. There is enough air conditioning to always avoid the humidity and besides, it's only a problem July through August. Most of the year is pleasant with a light breeze. I love the late afternoon thunderstorms. Hurricanes aren't much of a problem in central Florida. Beach people evacuate TO Orlando during severe storms. I'm 45 minutes to Daytona Beach. Two hours to the Gulf Coast. Thirty minutes to a warm springs state park and one hour to an outlet mall! (And Orlando is where I found my hydrotherapy pool)
A condo is the way to go. Landscape service is provided. I have a 5 bedroom townhouse with 3.5 baths that I bought for 200k, but you can go as low as 90k for something smaller. There is no state income tax. Tourists provide plenty of state and local revenue. Farm fresh produce, grass fed meat and dairy, dog parks, SunRail to take a trip downtown. An abundance of churches of all types. Orthodox Christians can choose from Greek, Serbian, Coptic (Egyptian), Antiochian (Syrian), or Russian (OCA)
You can live city, suburban or rural. Waterfront or landlocked.
But the very best thing is that MY DOCTOR IS HERE!!

I find I'm better in heat unless it's very humid. Then it's as bad as the cold.
My step mum has Lupus and they moved to Spain as she's a lot better there, however the high summer temps make her bad again so they spend summer in Northern France.

The best place I've found was Egypt, very high temps but very low humidity. You don't feel the heat in the same way.
Unfortunately, Egypt isn't somewhere I would like to live though.

I would research places in the US that are hot with low humidity. When you find it, can I come and live with you please? Just me, two dogs and two cats. I'll rehome the goldfish 😁

I have lived in sd,va,mi,fl and have seen no difference...when the weather changes my body knows..loud noises do the same,migraines.. so to me it doesn't matter as long as you are happy..hugs
