When research says they have found a cure I am always cautious and like to see more than one research article. My hands get cold when my pain levels or up so there may be some truth to it. I am allergic to all the medications mentioned so I guess no cure for me lol It is always good to run these things by the team to get lots of ideas. Sometimes I just wish people would live one day in our bodies - no way they can understand. But great question. I look forward to reading other's responses. Love and Light

To the pastor : God loves us more. He provides daily opportunities for us to endure without complaining. If we had a cast, a brace, no hair from chemo, or a horrible scar we would become vain with the attention and sympathy that we would attract.
Better to be humbled by fibromyalgia. It causes us to seek the blessing of the Lord and not the blessings of others.

Amen and Amen! Went to pick up a prescription of enzymes I have to have to digest food, the other day. My GI told me "Of all the meds you take, this is the most important one. Don't skip it.". But I'm evidently in the "donut hole" of Medicare prescriptions now so a partial filling of 75 pills is $192. I take 3 per day. I'm digging out pills I had put aside for travels, emergencies, etc until I get to Friday and have enough to pay.
I'm fortunate. Friday will come...but what of those who need pills, oxygen, inhalers, etc when there is no bright spot on the horizon?
I'm a pastor. I truly do believe that there will come a day when we face a loving God who will say to us "Why, child? Why did you treat your sisters and brothers this way?"
And we will have to answer.
Blessings to each of us here in fibro-land.

I'm also cautious. The parties involved are big money pharma companies...so on one hand it means they take it seriously enough to invest in it, but.....they are in business to make a profit, not to cure us. What if it were something where we could cure our pain by wearing gloves that would heat or chill the palms of our hands, and that would take care of aching muscles and all? And they'd lose profits of those three fibro drugs. I wonder if they would hide the research?

Would like to be more trusting. Will definitely keep an eye out for this, and parked it in my medical folder.....

God gives us laughter. There are definitely days when laughter *isnt* the answer...like Job's friends sometimes we need to honor the silence and tears, even in ourselves. But so often God sends relief in laughter. 😀
Know why jokes "work"? I was fascinated by this...it's because they set up expectations for something familiar, then switch to a different track. "Take my wife....please!"
That's why joy in resurrection...expect the usual, met with new life.
So I'm thankful God gives us laughter when we can endure, tears when we can't. I complain plenty when the pain is bad, to God. Moses complained, and the prophets, and Jesus asked that the cup be lifted off him. And they were pretty close to God (said with tongue-in-cheek). God's favorites! 🤔
So I figure God can endure my anger or complaining, even as God invites our love and joy!
