This is really freaking me out cause I've never had this sort of thing before. Now everyday I wake up with a new purplish/yellow bruise on my legs (really small ones). I did some blood tests and I'm not anemic and my
platelets are ok, my folic acid is a little low though and I've been a lot stressed stressed lately.
Anyone suffering with mysterious bruises? :( :( :( :( :(

Members connected over the confusing experience of waking up to mysterious bruises on their legs, with many describing small purplish or yellow marks that appear without any memory of injury. Several members shared possible explanations, including unconscious nighttime leg rubbing or scratching due to stress, low vitamin D levels, certain medications increasing bruising susceptibility, and the possibility of fibromyalgia itself being the culprit, even when blood tests for anemia, platelets, and autoimmune conditions come back normal. A recurring theme was the relief of discovering that others experience the same thing and the ongoing mystery of finding a definitive cause despite clean bloodwork.

Hi I too get the weird bruising though I've never found out what it's from. Mostly on my legs . They can get pretty ugly sometimes.

I get crazy bruises sometimes on my legs too. We found out what it was from one weekend when my mom and I went somewhere. In the hotel that night she got up to go to the bathroom and noticed my legs moving. Apparently I sort of rub/scratch at one leg with the toes from the other. I assume it's stress related because I don't do it every night.
