Do any one of you have more pain on one side than the other. My hip and knee are always worse on my left side!

Members connected over experiencing one-sided pain with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, with many reporting their non-dominant side (especially the left hip and knee) as more painful, though some found their dominant side hurt more from overuse or compensatory movement. Several members shared coping strategies including heat therapy, massage with oils, relaxation techniques before bed, wheelchair assistance, and trying to use the less-affected side to give the painful side a rest. A recurring theme was the unpredictable and highly individual nature of the condition, with pain shifting between sides, affecting different joints for different people, and creating a daily guessing game of which areas would flare next.

I amazed at just how diverse this condition is - everyone has got their very different areas of pain and weakness! Mine tends to be my left hip, button and knee @A MyFibroTeam Member although I'm right handed! Xx

Yes, my left side seems to be the main target...

Yep, my left is the worst side too. I'm left handed so I don't know if that impacts on it.
