Oh my! It says it might help lose lbs. lol. I take it for depression after lexapro stopped doing the job. But I also take pain meds which do not last the whole month because I have been on the same script for 7 years. But am afraid to complain because of the sigma attached to r illness. Xx do u take pain meds?

Hoping your transition goes more smoothly. When I was withdrawing off of Cymbalta it was miserable. But so was being on it. Soft hugs

Do you think about going up on the pain meds, try something new. I am on Oxy 15mg no Tylenol, works great. And for Cymbalta I was on it for year and it took 4 weeks to get off of Cymbalta by adding Prozac. Prozac works great you get a boost of energy and it is easy to come off of.

I tried to give up prozac. I was OK for a few weeks then lots of crying, irritability, and sensory issues. I have been back on it now for a month and feel so much better...mentally...not physically.

@lauramccurtin I am going off it becaus it does not help with pain at all. In fact, in the 2.5 years I've been taking my pain has gotten progressively worse. I have also gained 35 lbs!
