yes...it helps with my pain, my sleep, my anxiety & my stomach. What I have found for me is that if I just take pain medication, it doesn't help as much with the pain...but if I use the medical marijuana & the pain medicine together, it is much more effective. Same with my anxiety meds. And medical marijuana alone does not work well enough. It's the combination that is the trick for me. I also have done research regarding cancer & medical marijuana and I have learned it is the same for cancer. It's the combo of cancer drugs & medical marijuana together that is the magic combination to present the required effectiveness. As researchers are only now testing the positive benefits of marijuana, they are finding this to have great benefits in many medical areas. It's a positive step in research trials. However, you need to determine what type of medical marijuana you need (indica or sativa). Indica if for pain, sativa is for depression. Sativa can get people up and moving when depressed. Indica works well for pain, sleep & stress. There are also strains that are part of both. Whenever you go to a dispensary, just talk with the people at the counter, I have always found them to be informative and when they know what you are dealing with, they usually can guide you to the proper strains. It sounds like you have not tried this before. Do not start with the strongest ones on the market (start with something mild). I would say use caution if you decide to purchase ëdibles". The edibles are usually 4 or 10 times stronger then dosing normally. There are also oils...some of these are very, very strong...I stay away from them. NOT ALL ARE STRONG. . Some people get a normal oil and put a couple of drops in juice. I was given one that you only use a drop of oil 1/2 the size of a grain of rice...it was like 60 times stronger then normal. Don't get upset, just talk with the people at the counter and they can guide you. Remember though, you will get a BUZZ. You will feel effected by it. If you decide to try it, start around dinner time and only try a little to start. Always remember, it takes about 20 minutes to feel the effects so take your time. It's not for everybody. However, the people I have met, it's been a positive step in their treatments. take care

Hi! I use it and it's wonderful! I live in a state where med marijuana is legal. I have 5 different kinds for different ailments. I also have liquid THC so I don't have to smoke too much. Because there are different kinds grown to help with different things, you shouldn't have a problem. Good luck! I'll be here If you need any help!

Hi..
I live in Vancouver Canada.
There are legal medicinal Marijuana dispensaries here.
I was very hesitant to try it for pain; until 2 other Fibromyalgia patients of my specialist informed me it worked for them.

There is also a pharmaceutical man made pill called Nabilone that my specialist prescribed for me due to having bone spurs in my neck on top of my Fibromyalgia pain..
You can try Nabilone..ask your doctor for a prescription..if you are unable to get medicinal Marijuana in your state, due to legality.

I haven't ever used this. It is not legal in my state and I'm not sure I would use it. I don't have either depression or anxiety at a medical level, but I wonder if it would help with the pain management. I would like to know more about it. Never know when it might be needed!
