Any Weight-loss Tips?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

What have any of you done to lose weight? I have tried Paleo diet, regular diet, exercise which turned out into terrible pain episodes. I been told to do aerobic exercises but I am afraid to try it again. I want to know what you guys have tried?

It's very frustrating trying to loss weight!

I'm on extra thiroxen to try and boost my matabalsom but it's not doing much of anything.. I would love to do atomic I love the water!
Dr suggested it too I just can not go on my own or I would.
I suggest starting slow with that and sounds like your going on the right path with what you're eating.

I was a burlesque and pole dancer (for fun and experience) I was a dancer from a young age, but as I started to slowly slowly suffer worse and more allergies horrible fatigue, pain so much worse then normal after dancing. Then about 4 years ago I swear I went to sleep a size 12 and woke up a size 20! Ok so maybe not over night but it really was over a month now everything I fry just brings on pain fatigue stress more pain and just bad bad. I have tried all of the diets nothing works without extrem exercise and well that's not possible with the fibro burning a hole in my life...

Water aerobics is great since you do it at your own pace and there is no strain on your body.

Hi Caroline. Low carbs.. I have muesli for breakfast . Lots of salad vegetables with tuna/ meat/ or eggs fo lunch. Or grilled bacon & poached eggs. Meat or fish with lots of vegetables for dinner. Greek yoghurt and berries. Fruit for snacks but not too many bananas. Lots of water+++

If you are not as active as you once was, then cut down to 2 meals a day but don't, skip breakfast even if you have it around 11.00. there are gluten free meals good for dieting and nowadays they are quite tasty. Keep loadsa salad in stock to nibble if you get hunger pangs you can eat as much as you like, berries ar also good to snack on.
