I have had flares that lasted several months. The best thing that helps is exercise. It's very hard when you're sick . I swim everyday for an hour and that helps. If you have access to a pool I highly recommend it.
I had a flare for months before it finally let up:( Just depends on how fibro wants to act up. At least that I've been learning for last 7 yrs. Hope you feel better soon:( Just try et keep moving as much as you can even if it's walking around your house every couple hrs.
My longest flar up was about 2months. I got up and walked
Has ur Gp told you to carry on taking them? Mine did and I told him the gabo don't work
I"ve had fibro for years and went for years not being diagnosed because my first dr treated me like a hypochondriac.. My pain is now constant and never do I get a break from it. Sometimes the stabbing pains are absolutely terrible and the shock me every time. I never know when to expect those. I'm glad I live alone cause there's times that I actually cry out with surprise and pain. I take gabapentin and it seldom helps, if at all.. It takes the edge off, but that's about it.
@A MyFibroTeam Member , if you live in Ontario, instead of hiring a lawyer, go to the Legal Clinic. The lawyers there are there specifically for O.D.S.P. apps that are turned down.
Good luck!
Peace, love and gentle hugs,
