Members shared their experiences with burning mouth, tongue, gums, and throat, with many describing persistent dry mouth, metallic taste, swollen gums, and difficulty swallowing as recurring challenges. Several members offered practical strategies including switching toothpaste brands (from Crest to Colgate or Sensodyne), using sugar-free lozenges, drinking Gatorade for hydration, trying miracle mouthwash or pilocarpine for dry mouth, and being alert for thrush infections that can be treated with antifungal medication. A recurring theme was the realization that these symptoms are often tied to fibromyalgia's nerve sensitivity, medication side effects, or conditions like Sjogren's syndrome, with members finding solidarity in knowing they weren't alone in these painful and frustrating experiences.

Sometimes people with Fibro get a thrush infection of the throat and tongue. Is your tongue white. Brushing your teeth is important. I see you have a link to Colgate. It is a good toothpaste. I also use bakingsoda/ w peroxide.

It is hard and most days I bearly get though it. What gives me stranght to get up and do it is knowing that my 15 year old son deserves a good life. I have been homeless and I have loved in campers no running water because I hurt and had truble doing things but I got sick of my family living like that so now I just grin and bear it. Its hard very hard and I am sure there will come a day when I just won't be able to do It any more but for now I know my son has what he needs .

Mary, I don't know how you do it. I have one granddaughter during the week for a few hours and then on weekends both grandkids. That is hard for me. The loud talking hurts my ears which then gives me migraines. Then to come home and cook. I can't do that any more. I usually forget and almost burn down the house. So the boys do the cooking or order in ..I will be praying for strength and healing in the name of Jesus. Sending lots of love and hugs
