Loss Of Muscle
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm 36 and about 6 mos. ago started noticing my self aging pretty fast..loss of muscle..pretty weak and my skin sagging. I feel like it just happened over night..is this normal with just getting older. I was recently told I have fibermyalgia..still try to rule out everything else but I'm just scared from the way I feel it is something bad. Does anyone have the same feeling?

Weakness is definitely something that goes with fibro. Sorry for your difficult time. Hang in there and try not stressing out. This only makes it worse. (((HUG)))

Has anyone else lost the muscles in their hands and feet? Also the grip, lack of coordination? It's scary as I don't want it to detiorate any more!! My hands look bony and I have never stopped being active every single day :-(

I exactly face the same problems, since i’ve learnt that i had fibromyalgia. In months, my skin started to be dry and sagging started, as well. I’ m getting older very fast. It is unbelivable. I also loss my muscles. Will that continue in years with this speed?

I think I'm just noticing more since I'm getting older..then after having problems and being weak.. just scared.
