@A MyFibroTeam Member - as far as my body regulating tempture - that's a joke!! It doesn't happen any more. If I'm up & active I am hot, swelling & sweating. If I'm setting in my recliner, I'm cold & under 2 blankets or electric blanket. I wear flannel all year b/c it is warm to my skin & feels good. Tee shirts, flannels, cotton sleep pants are my main clothes at home. When I go off I wear jeans, tee & flannel shirt or sweatsuit. The more tired I get the hotter I get. I get home, change clothes & wash up & I'm cold again.
All the temp changes give me a headache.
Hi @A MyFibroTeam Member its hard remember, whats hot&cold, ill try..my feet can be on fire, other tmes ice cold.my hands the same, I run them under a cold water tap..ice spray on feet espec at bed tme.My body plays lots of tricks on me, wth hot&cold/sweating.Or heres another one..one foot/hand cold, the other hot,, so weird.:-)
Often I have to change my sleepwear in the night from sweating and at the same time add another pair of socks.
I can't win for losing with that. I get hot so easily I can't even snuggle under the blankets too long before I start sweating but then if I'm not under a blanket I get cold so therefore we have it pretty cold in our room and then I can snuggle under the blankets w/o getting too hot most of the time unless I have the hot flashes, etc. Sometime though my feet and/or hands get cold as I was saying before so go back and forth with that. Probably the sensitivity like Jan was saying.
Yes all the time, my upper body will be warmer but at night I'm freezing, a light fan can make my arms etc extremely cold and my muscles will start hurting but min I put a throw or blanket over them it starts to go away, so sensitivity to warm or cold is common with fibro, really strange
