Members deeply related to feeling nervous, clumsy, and self-conscious in public without understanding why, sharing experiences of dropping things, forgetting words mid-sentence, struggling with balance, and feeling like everyone is watching them. Several members offered practical coping strategies, including shopping during off-peak hours to avoid crowds, using drive-throughs to minimize stress, practicing deep breathing and meditation, trying Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for nerve and anxiety symptoms, and reminding themselves that most people aren't actually staring. A recurring theme was learning to let go of others' judgments, taking time without rushing, and extending grace to oneself for the physical and cognitive challenges that come with fibromyalgia.

I have this anxious feeling without the racing heart all the time! I drop everything, have a difficult time pulling money out of my wallet, sometimes even counting the change is difficult, have a difficult time talking or remembering what my point was, and feel like people are staring at me. It has made it harder to go out into public!

Hi fibro friend! I get the same feeling but i have now learned that i shouldn't care what people think. It may seem like everyone is looking or staring at you bit they really aren't. Just be uou and stay strong and who cares what other people are staying or doing🌹

Yes me too! I go thru drive thru with money out wallet and sometimes just drop it in my purse so I don't hold the lines up.

Yes I feel al those things...sometimes when I go to the store..I will say ( I am invisible..I am invisible LOL).I swear sometimes it works LOL..Just depends on the day..if its a bad day..I go shopping real early to avoid the crowds.also..yes I do drop a lot of things..for me it is when I am so tired but I am trying to finish it anyway..just not focused..but I am sure there are other reasons also....Yes when your feeling tired r sore it is hard to strike a conversation..we are like I have to get home now please..geeeesh..its hard because we are limited on how much energy we have in a day..there are small windows that open when we feel we have more energy..and its those days I love to visit a friend..can totally relate to you ...gentle hugs..
