Members expressed strong curiosity about genetic testing to determine which medications might work best for fibromyalgia, with several eager to learn more about the process and results. A few members raised important cautions, sharing concerns that genetic testing results could potentially be used by insurance companies to deny coverage or claims if pre-existing conditions or family health histories are revealed. The conversation reflected both hopeful interest in personalized treatment options and practical wariness about protecting one's access to care.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Not sure where to get it done in the UK. In Canada there is a site called 23andme.ca , maybe there is something similar where you live. I'm on the fence about this testing since someone pointed out that insurance companies could use it against you if it is on record that say heart problems are in your family.
