Nerve pain. I have this too and my pain dr said my nerves are over firing.
Well from my experience I have lower back pain which in turn after an MRI found that I had a bulging disc in the spine. Which after paying closer attention to the pain in buttocks, hips and lower would increase if my back were acting up. My doctor told me that with having back pains often times it will cause inflammation to the lower half of your buddy then in turn causes the skin irritations and a burning sensation through out the bone and affected area. Until surgery takes place, any kind of heat usually helps.. Whether it be throwing clothes in the dryer and then putting them on or soaking in a steamy bath. But alas they are just quick fixes but any relief is good relief.
I often have this 3rd degree sort of burning pain in my arms and hands. It was worse but I started taking Tumeric supplements which have made a huge difference. It is an Indian spice with anti-inflamatory effects. About 750-1000mg a day research recommends. You can get it on Amazon. Holler if you want more info.
