I was thinking of getting together for lunch or something with the people who live around this area, there are several of us. I think it would be good since we all know what the others go through, kind of like a support group. Would anyone else be interested in doing something like this?

Members enthusiastically supported the idea of organizing a local in-person lunch or support group for people living with fibromyalgia, with several expressing how valuable it would be to connect with others who truly understand their daily challenges. Many members from distant locations like Canada and Yorkshire expressed wishing they had similar opportunities in their own areas, while those closer to the original poster began coordinating details like scheduling and frequency. A recurring theme was the deep need for community understanding beyond what well-meaning friends and family can provide, with members longing for a space where they could share real experiences and practical coping strategies without judgment.

That's great Guy. I'm glad your interested. We'll see we else would like to do it and sat on a day when we can all make it. Do you think just a lunch or something more like a support group? I know that there are none for fibro in this area. We could meet once a month or something. Any ideas you have well be great!!

I'm thinking if we get enough people it might be something we could do monthly. Same place same time. Debbie your the only one that lives close enough that I've heard back from so I guess we'll see how it goes. I for one would love it. My friends and family try so hard to understand but they just can't no matter how hard they try. Hopefully we can get this set up and going in the next couple of months!! I'll be praying about it and maybe the good Lord will help work it out for us

I don't know about ya'll but I sure could use it. Instead of hearing " you over took your meds" which I didn't I just slept alot that day I would like to hear that happens to me to and here's what I do about it. That would be so nice. So ya'll hit me up if you would like to start a support club in this area
