Members rallied around someone experiencing sharp, constant spine pain while their doctor refused pain medication before foot surgery, sharing both their own similar struggles and practical relief strategies. Several members recommended asking about medications like Lyrica, Gabapentin, or mild muscle relaxers, while others suggested topical solutions such as Tiger Balm, Topricin Fibro Cream, or spray-on Icy Hot, and non-medication approaches like heating pads, TENS units, aqua classes, and chiropractic care. A recurring theme was the importance of advocating for diagnostic imaging like X-rays or MRIs to identify the root cause, with members sharing their own journeys through physical therapy, pain clinics, and in some cases back surgery that finally brought relief after years of struggling.

Are you sure it's your spine that's the issue?! Not internal ? Make sure you get things checked out because meds aren't the best answer. And maybe you can try Chiropractic medicine. It's helped my back.

Im doing ok. Im still dealing with this back pain. Dr wants me to try Lyrica for a few weeks to see if that helps the pain but im having to slowly stop taking Gabapentin 1st. Ugg 2 more days with 300mg of Gabapentin then i get to start 25mg of Lyrica for a week then start taking 25mg 2 times a day
