I'm curious- does anyone else with just fibromyalgia get bad flares if they've been in the sun for even just a little bit? I thought that was more of a lupus problem. If I spend even just an hour out in the sun, I feel like I've got the flu and my whole body aches!
Some medications can interact with the sun. Amitriptyline is one.
I have bad muscle spasms and feel like vomiting and have blacked out from being in the sun... the verdict is still out if I have lupus or not tho.. my tests keep coming up positive but Noone seems to be doing anything about it.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have had positive ANA, C-Reactive Protein, RNP, and others... I've just been referred to a new Rheumatologist and I hope I will get some answers...
And the heat. Several that I'm on make heat intolerance a huge problem - the layers of issues just becomes more complicated.
That's interesting. Years ago I had positive ANA and the rheuma. basically ignored it and I always wondered why. At the same time I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid (Graves Disease) and really low iron stores and vitamin D. I was given e Vit, D 500mg, 1000mg/dy, and renewals of all my prescribing. The insurance company and the state omnibus people are the final deciders who make a decision about the complaint and try to resolve the issue if possible. Then things should be resolved and things are better for the residents and the caregivers there helping. It can work out if everyone is polite and patient.
I wish they'd put me in charge of answering,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I could have won the money to feed and educaht k
